Aerosol based Fire Extinguisher

Aerosol can effective for extinguishing, class A2, B, C and explosion prevention and can be used in vehicles, buildings, storehouses, electric equipment’s, Aerosol is Ozone friendly. Fire extinguishing aerosol generators are designed for efficient fire extinguishing and preventing in closed and partly opened areas and for explosive medium neutralization in the area to be protected. Features of Aerosol are

  • Ecologically clean
  • Fire suppression in 5-10 seconds
  • Extinguishing for A2, B, C classes of fire, for electric equipment at 35,000 V
  • Temperature range application is ± 50 degrees Celsius
  • Easy montage and operation
  • High reliability

In case of fire or explosion in protected area, aerosol generating composition lights up with initiating system. The system will generate aerosol and penetrated with a solid cooler, consisting of polymer granulated material. The cooling occurs as a result of endothermic effect of decomposition to safe temperature (200-500 degrees Celsius). The cooled aerosol fills the protected object volume and provides fire and explosion protection conditions of explosive and dust-gas mixtures.

.

Fire extinguishing mechanism and explosion preventing of dust-gas mixtures is based on the property of fire extinguishing particles to inhibit and interrupt chemical burning and oxidation reactions of different materials in the air.

a. Water Mist fire extinguishing Module “Buran “ a non- pressurized canister

Is a non-pressurized canister containing a gas generator and a fire extinguishing substance? Upon activation of the module by an electrical pulse a gas-generating compound undergoes a burning to produce a big amount of gases which raises pressure inside the canister. When the pressure reaches a certain value, the membrane bursts releasing into the environment a fire extinguishing substance, which is the actual extinguishing medium.

Water mist fire extinguishing modules have been designed for use in automatic water mist fire suppression systems against fires of classes A, B as well as fires of electrical equipment under 1000 Volts. Separately, modules with remote-controlled start-up devices can be used as autonomous plants for extinguishing local fires in small areas. Modules have been assigned acclimate category “U” (GOST 15150, placement 2) with storage ambient air temperature range from minus 40C to plus 50C and with operation/service ambient air temperature range from -40̊ С to +95̊С. Module represents a main element of a fire suppression system.
